Now Accepting Suggestions

I'm now accepting suggestions for my 2011 Reading List.  Yes, I realize it's barely November (and that indeed, it doesn't appear as though I will finish all the books on my 2010 Reading List), but I am most excited about making this list!  I've already chosen several books to read next year, but I am desperately in need of some suggestions in terms of Children/Youth Lit. and Biographies/Memoirs/History.  If you have any ideas, please let me know.  And just so this post isn't a grand total of five sentences, here are a few of the books which I am planning on reading next year:

What about you?  Have you ever made a reading list for the year?  What types of books do you like to read?

I haven't read them, but I have heard the Hunger Games trilogy is really good.

I'm drawing a blank on any other books right now. Sad!

I am highly impressed that you finished A Prayer for Owen Meany in the midst of all your other stuff. Someone suggested that one to me and I saw how big it was and knew there was no way I'd get through it without having to reread it multiple times. At least in this season...

I second Hunger Games. I still want to read those. As for any others...I can't even think of any. And I just realized I've read 0 of the books on my list last year, but I have been reading.

Well being the expert on kiddie lit that I am ;-) I would like to suggest Star Girl, Picture of Hollis Woods, and Surviving the Applewhites.
Also, a very favorite from my childhood that you have probably already read (but just in case you haven't) Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh. I have been reading it to my class.
